Can't see the forest for the trees

I met with a Christian leader recently who told me he didn't believe the statistics we were facing a youth crisis because he saw good things happening everywhere he went. His friend pointed out that he spent all of his time around Christians where good things were happening. It was a case of "can't see the forest for the trees." If you spend all your time surrounded by Christians then you see Christians everywhere.

If you only go where Christians are, then you see Christians everywhere you go.
